Living lab sustainable fashion
The fashion and textile industry remains one of the most polluting sectors globally. To drive meaningful change across the value chain, tex.tracer is taking part in the Living Lab Sustainable Fashion (LLSF) project. This initiative is a collaboration with partners like Inholland University of Applied Sciences and is cofunded by the European Union.
In the LLSF, we work alongside students and industry partners to dream big. Based on a clear context and strong motivation, we aim to create ecological and financial impact through transparency and authenticated data.
The key objectives
- Deepening knowledge and experience on how a local fashion and textile ecosystem can contribute to reduce, refuse and rethink strategies while exploring alternative business models.
- Comparing local fashion and textile ecosystems and establishing learning communities to support these strategies across the industry.
- Exploring and gaining experience with sustainable marketing in the local market to promote a more circular approach to textiles.
Our contribution
- Participating in events by, for and with local entrepreneurs.
- Applying innovative concepts including alternative or new business models.
- Sharing knowledge and practical experiences with industry peers to improve the value chain.
- Connecting with other sustainability initiatives in the fashion and textile sector across the North Holland region.
